Melanie's offers a full service dining experience for breakfast and lunch with outdoor patio or cozy indoor seating in downtown Boone. Our eclectic menu features fresh, local, and homemade comfort food with everything from Benedicts and Fruit Waffles to Reubens and Burgers. We have options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free dishes. Complement your meal with a mug of fresh brewed Hatchet Coffee, a cappuccino, fresh squeezed juice, or a drink from our full bar.

The new Melanie's bar and café area has a full espresso bar menu, beer, wine, mimosas, and brunch cocktails. We have a lounge area, tables for meeting up with friends, and work stations where you can plug in and get some work done.

Very good! I loved the mix-matched tables and chairs, cloth napkins, and kitschy mugs. The food was great and I loved the variety of vegetarian options. I had the pimento cheese grits and my husband had the eggs Benedict. My only regret was not getting the ginger-lemon tea. It had fresh chunks of ginger and lemons. Everything was super fresh and staff was attentive.
